*Data Analyst (Governance, Lean,)
Stamford, CT
6 Months*

!! *Focus on Governance, project management or PMO, Data analysis or
mapping, change management or process improvement*!!
*Financial industry is a big plus but not a requirement.*

*Job Responsibilities*:
• Work effectively across a broad range of business functions.
• Work with business user(s) to define and document current and future
processes.
• Perform data analysis including profiling, systems analysis and business
analysis.
• Prepare data mapping documents and business rules documents.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for
development team(s) and support them as necessary.
• Attend sessions with Data Governance team, data stewards/owners and
business users to help define the data quality standards, data governance
policies and business process diagrams.
• Define User Acceptance test plans, test cases and any training
documentation.
• Work with Treasury application teams, stakeholders to understand the core
data requirements, quality checks required, and policies and procedures.
• Assist in Project Management activities.
• Provide support for test execution for production and QA testing.
• Provide Process Improvement Services:
o Champion process improvement initiatives
o Apply methodologies (ie: LEAN, DMAIC, ValueStream, DFSS, etc)
o Develop Metrics (ie: CTQ, Baselines, Defect Rates, Throughput yield, etc)
• Lead selected initiatives with stakeholder support (DMAIC example below)
o Define the problem(s) and CTQs
o Measure / baseline the current processes
o Analyze where the defects are occurring
o Improve the process and measure the impact
o Control the new process
• Recommend and implement controls to maintain the process and desired
results
• Leverage metrics to drive change
o Employ Change Acceleration Process (CAP) to drive the acceptance of
change throughout the organization
