Would be responsible to design, and develop the *Electro-Mechanical Assemblies*– which includes Racks, Enclosures and the associated cables, associated with the Semiconductor Equipment. *Required skills:* · BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or Physics. · *3+ years related experience working with Electro-Mechanical Assemblies and Components.* · Knowledge of *ProEngineer (Wildfire 4.0 and above) and Pro-Cable, or equivalent cabling package required. (Mandatory)* · Who has working knowledge of *static analysis.* · *Experience in packaging design, air flow analysis (Mandatory)* · Knowledge of clean room compatible connectors, cables and clean room requirements for mechanical design · Previous experience with Semiconductor Equipment Companies is an added advantage *Responsibilities include* · Author Requirements and Design Documents. · Create models and associated detailed drawings for concepts/designs created, and hand over these to Manufacturing · Technical ownership of issues that impact design success, and guide the future concepts, products and technologies. *Skills / Abilities*: · Should be able to read P&ID drawings · Basic Design and Analysis experience using Ansys workbench/proMechanica or equivalent package · Discover and negotiate system requirements, and flesh out designs, when requirements are unavailable and/or ambiguous. *Reporting Relationship:* Will report to the Program Manager, New Product Development within the Engineering Organization.
