Looking forward to hear from you soon. *Position: Sr Java Web 2.0 Developer* *Location: Brooklyn NYC* *Duration: 6+ Months* Application designer/developer with the following skills: • 5+ years of experience with application architecture, design, and development on multiple platforms • Experience with ¿ Creating architecture and designs that span multiple applications on multiple platforms ¿ Core Java and open source application frameworks such as the Spring Framework and one or more front end-technologies ¿ Shell scripting and data-intensive, ETL type of applications ¿ Strong database, SQL, and Stored Procedure skills working with several databases (e.g. Oracle, DB2) ¿ Development tools such as Eclipse, Maven, Subversion, Crucible, and JIRA ¿ Debugging, profiling and performance tuning applications batch and user-facing applications ¿ One or more web containers such as Tomcat ¿ Data-intensive applications and server-side development is a plus ¿ Customizing and deploying vendor software packages is a plus ¿ Experience in navigating, manipulating files, and executing commands in a Linux/Unix environment ¿ Prior Compliance or AML experience is highly desirable ¿ Data analysis skills is a big plus.
