*Job Title: Project Manager* *Location: Long Island City (Queens, NY)* *Duration: 8 mths,* *Note: F2F interview* * * *Send me your resume @ [email protected], * SCOPE OF SERVICES Project Description The consultant will be the team lead for the project team that will develop Phase 1 of Early Intervention (EI) Transportal application. This application will allow users to enter in payment/claim data related to EI transportation services, allow users to review and authorize payments, interface with the NY Early Intervention System (NYEIS) to extract service authorizations, and interface with NYC Department of Education (NYCDOE) systems to issue payments to the vendors. In addition, the system will provide internal controls, audit trails, and comprehensive financial reports. Deliverables/Work Performed for this time period and consultant: The Project Manager/Business Analyst will gather and document business requirements resulting in the delivery of a Functional Requirements Document. With oversight from the Solution Director for Financial Systems, the PM will plan and execute implementation of the entire Phase 1 of the EI Transportal application. The PM will partner with Product Owner to prioritize requirements, maintain the product backlog, create application mockups, create process maps, identify and manage risk, update internal project tracking system, develop and execute test plans, and training end-users. The PM will interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical, functional and management staff. In addition, the PM will collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS N/A THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY: Mandatory Skill/Expertise Actual # Years & Months Experience Dates >From through Where Employed Candidate must have at least seven (7) years of experience as project manager/business analyst managing web-based .NET applications, gathering and documenting business requirements, developing functional requirements, creating wireframes and mockups, and creating test plans. Candidate must be a technical project manager/business analyst who will work closely with developers of a 2-3 member team. The candidate must have strong experience working with SQL and will be using it on daily basis writing select, insert, and update statements for data analysis and testing purposes. The candidate must have recent experience in a .NET/SQL 2008 software development environment. Must have at least one (1) year experience in an Agile team as a project manager/business analyst.
