And let me know your Interest. *CCNA Network Engineer(2 positions)* 1st Engineer in Cupertino, CA - travel to Northern CA region. 2nd Engineers are required to travel within the Northeast regions - NY, NJ, PA, MA, ME, NH, MD, VA, DC. Can live in PA, NJ, NY *Duration: 6 Months* * * *Must be a citizen* Excellent communication and interpersonal skill *Must have a CCNA that is current* *Would like someone to Start Monday* The Network Engineer is expected to act as a team member on large projects and primary engineer on point projects. This position requires someone with a multi-faceted skill set and you would be handling multiple installation projects. Implements network, security, wireless solutions in the customer environment Performs hands on configuration work to deploy or troubleshoot the client environment Generates engineering requirements (including descriptions of requirements and solutions) for documentation and troubleshooting. Obtains and maintains vendor engineering certifications required for service delivery. Provides consulting and engineering services that assure a high degree of Customer satisfaction. Engineers are required to travel within the Bay area and surrounding states *Essential Education / Experience:* 5+ years experience as a Security and/or Network Engineer. Must have Routing and Switching knowledge, including previous 6500, FWSM, CSM, Firewall, VPN and Wireless experience Excellent customer service and verbal/written communication skills. Extensive experience and certification in the Cisco, Check Point, Juniper, and/or StoneGate Security product suites is desired. Understanding of routing protocols and networking fundamentals. Knowledge and field experience of Routing and Switching knowledge, including previous experience with Cisco or Juniper stackable switches or chassis based with respective service modules, VPN and Wireless. Experience with a broad range of security products such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, AV, VPNs, Authentication, Content Filtering, etc. in a variety of network implementations. Experience with business and functional requirements collection. Must have knowledge AND field experience of Unified Communications knowledge, including Call Manager, Unity, UCCX, CCME & CUE, and PSTN Gateways Experience with large scale MPLS or Unified Communications deployments a plus Minimum Technical Certification: Cisco CCNA or Juniper JNCA or equivalent experience Experience implementation of the following technologies: IP, ATM, Frame Relay, Gigabit Ethernet, VoIP, and Wireless-based technology. Experience working with network routing architectures using protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP and static routes. Strong ability to troubleshoot complex multi-vendor network issues in the LAN and WAN networks. Knowledge of Quality of Service, IPSec, Multicast and load balancing techniques are also essential. Experience with Cisco Advanced Technologies such as WAAS, ACE, Nexus, NAC preferred Experience with Juniper or Checkpoint security products preferred Experience with Windows 2000/2003 and Exchange 2000/2003/2007 preferred Experience with Riverbed and F5 preferred. *Essential Skills and Competencies:* Excellent organizational skills with ability to team with others to develop and implement complex security projects. Solid analytical skills to troubleshoot high-level, complex and technical problems. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with executives, engineers, sales people, vendors and peers. Time management and problem solving skills are essential. Ability to engage with customers, manufacturer partners, and internal sales and technical staff.
