Experience in delivering/supporting applications over thin client and / or virtual machine technologies is paramount, though some domain appreciation would also be advantageous. The selected individual is expected to work within our Support teams to manage effective transitions (or handovers) of completed projects, Production support, create suitable documentation and develop our knowledge base content to assist less experienced team members with their understanding and competency. Duties include • Supporting IT systems invovled in Drilling or Wells engineering business (example - landmark EDM suite applications and/or similar applications) • Conduct Operational Acceptance Tests, and co-ordinate User Acceptance Tests • Engage with Project team to ensure smooth transition and service introduction . Practice incident, Problem, configuration, change management processes as per the ITIL standards • Understand customer requirements and make plans to execute. * Constructively peer review colleagues’ plans.
