*Please send resume to [email protected] * Job title: Citrix Engineer Location: Brooklyn, NY Duration: 6 Monrths Direct Client Position Note: 35/hr week The Certified Citrix Engineer will primarily be responsible for assisting the Help Desk in managing their Citrix environment. The Help Desk supports 400+ end users and peripherals. The Certified Citrix Engineer will work under the direct supervision of the Help Desk Supervisor or Distributed Systems Unit Manager to provide end user support. Duties will include • Install and Configure need hosted and streamed applications • Setup new virtual desk top images • Manage and troubleshoot multiple Citrix farms • Make recommendations for changes to improve performance • Maintaining all Citrix-related policies and procedures • Collaborate with other infrastructure units to resolve problems • Document problem resolutions and share with the other members of the Help Desk team • Perform software installs and patching on a monthly basis. The Certified Citrix Engineer must be available to work a minimum of 35 hours per week. Work after business hours and on weekend may be required from time to time. 1. Mandatory Skills: candidates must meet all the requirements below to be considered for the Certified Citrix Engineer position. • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience supporting Citrix farms • At least one(1) of the following certifications is required: o Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer (CCEE) o Citrix Certified Integration Architect (CCIA) • Experience configuring and managing XenApp 6.5 • Experience configuring and managing XenDesktop 5.6 • Strong technical troubleshooting abilities with Windows 7, XenApp and XenDesktop • Experience administering Citrix on VMware • Solid knowledge and experience with Windows 7 and application delivery/packaging solutions 4 • Excellent interpersonal skills including problem resolution and customer service. 2.
