*Position: Technical Project Manager or Scrum Master.* *Location: Long Island, NY. Duration: 12 months.* *Job Description:* Skill Set Requirements: · 5+ years’ experience managing application development projects · *Scrum Master CSM / Agile certified with 1 to 2 years of demonstrated Agile work experience* · Expert-level understanding of all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle · Knowledge of PLC and Standard Project Management practices · Hands-on experience with development management, build management and defect management tools such as JIRA, Serena Business Manager, uDeploy, AntHillPro, Quality Center and Sharepoint. · Previous career experience (3 to 5 years) as a hands-on application developer (preferably Java) · Previous experience with leading systems integration and defect management efforts · Ability to develop and maintain complex project plans in MS-Project spanning multiple organizations · Must have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to bridge / facilitate / report efforts between technical and business teams via meetings, status reports, resource management · Must be detail oriented, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple, concurrent initiatives · Telecom/Cable Experience, PMP, Solaris/Linux Systems Administration and/or Oracle certifications preferred but not required.
