*Position: Quality Control Analyst.*** *Location: Ann Arbor, MI. * *Duration: 12+ months* *Job Description:* *Summary:* The Quality Control Analyst is responsible for overall quality assurance throughout the application development cycle for the eCommerce group. Through the leadership provided by the Quality Control Manager, the Quality Control Analyst will partner with the development team for overall code quality. *GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES* *(30%) Quality Control Process Ownership * · Implement and recommend enhancements to the agile testing framework · Implement and maintain the process for defect detection, management, and resolution · Liaison for customers and/or business users to organize acceptance testing and advise on approach · Analyze defined solutions for Usability, Functionality, Testability, and make recommendations for improvement · Review automated unit tests and recommend areas of additional coverage · Inform QC Manager of testing status · Analyze the product features, and the product as a whole, to ensure it behaves as intended · Ensure that components and features are complete based on the department definition of “done” *(70%) Validation of Quality Applications * · Participate in developing and documenting User Stories, including testing estimates and validation tests · Write the test cases/scripts – ideally up-front but on a just-in-time basis per feature · Skilled in writing tests and validating code in parallel with the development group developing the applications · Develop, document, and maintain the test strategy and test scenarios · Ensure the appropriate test environments are in place and controlled · Partner with the developers to ensure all areas of the application are fully tested and issues are clearly logged and prioritized consistently · Manage the defect log and ensure issues are resolved, including validation of the fix · Analyze and determine proper testing procedures/processes for testing both hardware and software. · Document and maintain testing methods and individual test cases. · Participate in developer integration, system integration, and acceptance testing of all eCommerce applications · Automate individual test scripts for replay on new releases · Certify software functionality for new Production releases · Work with Integration Build teams to manage developer and production release of software · Provide exploratory testing to understand the feature and how it is implemented, to find additional or unexpected behavior, and to refine and define additional test cases for the feature · Ensure all non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, security, usability, etc.) are met · Act as the entry point for the Help Desk to provide an initial review and assessment of reported defects *QUALIFICATIONS* · Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience · Minimum three years testing experience, preferably in an Agile development environment · Experience with automated testing test suites (*HP QuickTest Pro, Selenium IDE/RC, etc.)* · Experience with defect tracking tools (*JIRA, Bugzilla*, etc.) · Experience with source control versioning systems (*SVN, CVS*, etc.) · Ability to work independently with an aptitude for detailed work and follow-up activities · Experience testing eCommerce and/or portal applications in a large heavy-traffic environment · *Mobile app (iOS and Android) testing experience preferred* *· Experience testing applications developed in JavaScript, JSP, AJAX, CSS, XHTML, Flash, on multiple browsers and operating systems (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.), Java and/or C# , JavaScript, SQL, Unix, Linux, Apache, Tomcat, IIS, MySQL, Perl* Thanks & Regards, *Krishna *|*Dynamic Software Services, Inc.*| Office: *415-259-4217* || *[email protected] * Gtalk : *simplekrrish* || YIM :* **krishdss* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source J2EE frameworks" group.
