position:SharePoint Location:Richfield/MN [ Possible for Longterm] Duration:6 months+ Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills • 6+ years of experience in SharePoint projects • 3+ years of experience in SQL Server database and exposure to Supply Chain • Extensive experience business analysis and working experience with business users directly Experience in Java/ .NET coding • Technical team management experience including offshore team members • Excellent personal communication, leadership, and organizational skills • Retail related data warehousing experience a plus Roles and responsibility • Application Development and Support • Knowledge Transition from Micro Soft team for support activities • Document own work, create technical documents for requirements/design and internal communication Offshore work coordination and tracking • Gather requirements for application enhancements and design solution approach • Create supply/demand forecasts and respective inventory targets Lead or participate in Proof-of-Concept projects Stay current with emerging industry trends Ability to take initiative and ownership on tasks Good written and oral communication Explain complex design items through documents and white-board sessions SQL knowledge and performance tuning experience needed Job Decsription MATRIX is a reporting portal developed in SharePoint technology integrated with multiple reporting plat forms like (Business Objects/BOBj/SSRS/XLS sheets etc…). Approximately 2500 to 3000 reports hosted in this portal restricted by user groups and privileges on set of reports. Entire business community of Best Buy uses this portal with heavy traffic as 4000 users hit this portal on daily basis. Keeping this portal up and live is TOP most priority to Best Buy IT team.
