*You can reach me on 408 216 7454 and Send resumes to [email protected]* Title : QA Analyst - Infrastructure Location: Emervilley, CA.*Duration*: 6 months *Job Description :* · You will work with a group of Developers, System Administrators, Network and Security Engineers and Database Administrators doing data-driven automated verification of an existing and a planned new data center. · You will need to work well in team environments and collaborate with team members to define, develop and execute QA tasks such as test plans, test cases , test scripts and technical defects. Key Responsibilities : · Facilitate the automation of data center environment server testing using scripting languages. · Work under the direction of the project QA Lead to understand priority of tasks and execution sequences. · Assist the automation effort by creating new automated test scripts according to the established methodology. · Provide feedback and recommendations to the Infrastructure team on automation related topics. · Share your knowledge and best practices to help us improve our automation effort. · Work closely with the Infrastructure team to gather server and environment integration testing requirements, verifying configuration settings etc. · Identify areas that need process improvement and provide recommendation to QA Management. · Analyze results, draws conclusions from test results, and makes recommendations. · Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards. · Manage the full end to end QA aspect of assigned project; interacting closely with project managers, Infrastructure team to define, estimate, prioritize and track QA tasks and items. · Participate in the Kan Ban process. · Promote, monitor and enforce the adherence to the QA standard operating procedures in the team. · Consult with the SCM and SAT teams in reporting, resolving and verifying issues. · Develop or specify standards, methodologies, or procedures to assess quality or release readiness. Preferred : In summary, we are looking for candidates with: · Fluency in at least one scripting language; PowerShell preferred. · Working knowledge of at least one of the programming languages such as JavaScript, Perl, C#, etc. · Experience as a system administrator or similar on an operations or infrastructure team · Experience as QA Engineer or Analyst in an operations or infrastructure team · Experience in a SaaS testing environment · Experience with QA testing in Agile development process · Knowledge of QA principles and process (e.g. different testing techniques) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source J2EE frameworks" group.
