The positions are for technicians with Server (Windows, SUSE Linux, VMWare) and Storage (EMC SAN and backup) experience. The experience can be a strong combination of skills or an expertise in one discipline such as Windows, VMWare, SAN (EMC) knowledge, or etc. Our primary need is for Windows and VMWare. Our next priority is for EMC SAN with potentially some backup experience. Our intention is to hire the four contractors that provide these skills. Here is a summary of the skills needed. *Storage Skills:* Experience installing, configuring and supporting Storage Area Network (SAN) switches/directors (Brocade, McData or Cisco). Must have experience performing code upgrades. Experience configuring & supporting enterprise backup and system recovery applications (e.g.: NetBackup, NetWorker, TSM, Comm vault which is installed at DET). Experience working with server based logical volume managers (VxVM, LVM, etc.). Experience analyzing and reporting on storage array capacities. Experience with unisphere a plus. Experience working with VMWARE. *Server Skills:* Storage Area Network Administration. VMware virtual infrastructure administration. Setup, Deploy and perform system administration on Windows servers, Linux servers. HPUX a plus. Configure and maintain Windows Group Policies Enterprise wide. Monitoring the performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability of installed systems.
