position:Data Architect Location:LincolnShire , IL Duration:12 months+ Summary • Translate business requirements into data structures • Provide Overall Architecture Solutions with options , pros and cons • Provides Support to a core Data warehouse Technical team for ETL, BI and Database Solutions. • Participate in data rationalization activities • Design logical data models for informational and operational systems; Evolves models to meet new and changing business requirements • Support packaged data structures and any additional modeling of database tables, indexes, and views • Recommend, develop, and enforce IT and database standards, guidelines, and procedures in order to facilitate quality assurance. • Documents data requirements for database design • Schedule and participate in the data model / enterprise architecture reviews • Communicates logical database designs to the database administrators • Utilize the standardized element abbreviations, element reuse is required. • Maintain data in meta data repository • Evolves models to meet new and changing business requirements Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Mathematics discipline and at least 10 years’ experience. • Knowledge of Data Warehouse Concepts • Knowledge of data, master data and metadata related standards, processes and technology • Experience defining, designing and implementing logical and physical data models • Experience in SQL and query tuning to meet strict performance SLAs • Experience with data warehouse technologies and/or back-end reporting systems • Experience designing and developing data marts and/or data cube solutions. • Experience designing and implementing reporting data sources and reports • Experience working cross functionally to deliver resolutions of technical, procedural, and operational issues • Hands-on expertise working with Informatica, Oracle, Business Objects, essential data modeling tools, scripting, AbInitio, Teradata, etc., • Hands-on experience with Perl, Python and Shell. • Strong communication skills, team spirit essential. Ability to work effectively with a team of varied skillsets and experience levels across time zones. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with SDLC in an Agile environment • Experience in the Ecommerce retail space • Experienced in end-to-end Data Warehousing experience • Experienced in Big-Data and its application to Data Warehousing Position:ETL Abinitio Senior Developer Location:Lincolnshire, IL Duration:12 month Experience level: 6-8 years 1. Strong experience in Abinitio, Unix, Shell Scripting, SQL, PL/SQL Oracle, Netezza and Perl 2. Very good working experience with all components of Ab Initio such as Scan, join, Partition by key, Partition by Round Robin, Gather, Merge, Interleave, Lookup etc. 3. Should have prior experience of extracting business requirement and proposing suitable technical solution from ETL side 4. Experience with various Abinitio parallelism techniques, Abinitio Graphs using Data, Pipeline & Component parallelisms 5. Excellent understanding of Conduct IT and its implementation 6. Good working experience on generic graphs 7. Good design experience on generic flow continuous, batch and plan 8. Proficient in creating documentation like LLD, HLD, Project end User Manual and Operations Hand off guide 9. Strong DW concepts 10. Experience in ETL design and performance tuning 11.
