Job Title: Senior SharePoint Consultant Req. #: Location: Houston, TX Duration: 9 months SEND RATE WITH YOUR CANDIDATES INFO TO *[email protected]* The Senior SharePoint Consultant will gather requirements, perform detailed technical design, create high level project plans, create detailed task plans, perform task level estimates, and will write code, create test cases and use cases, perform bench level unit and integration testing on components built; through QA, user acceptance, testing, and implementation into production. This project is to customize SharePoint at an enterprise level for corporate intranet and information collaboration. The SharePoint Consultant will also be expected to document work during and at the completion of projects. MOSS Portal projects could also involve developing .NET web parts utilizing and exercising as many of the exposed development features of MOSS as possible (such as Search, Business Data Catalog, InfoPath Forms Services, SharePoint Designer, Windows Workflow Foundation, Excel Services for BI). Duties • Configuring sites / site collections • Configuring search scopes • XML / XSLT for modifying search page and search result-set • Solid understanding of implementing security groups within MOSS, tied to AD • Web application management via MOSS Central Admin * InfoPath design/ development; understanding of MOSS Forms Server • SharePoint Designer • Workflow development skills • Configuration of Records Center, Including Content types, Records Routing, Information Rights Management Policies (disposition policies) Requirements • Degree preferred in Computer Science with Advanced degree a plus • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience, 6-10 years preferred • Experience in designing, requirements gathering, detailed statements of work, creating detailed designs, task planning and estimation of large scale solutions, in a production environment, or an application that went into production with a real client, not just demos • Good communications skills both in writing and in person, with a preference for people who have interacted with executive management, have prepared and delivered presentations and demos, have interviewed business users to gather requirements and processes, and who have prepared those requirements into lucid and organized written documents.
