For further details please **contact me at** (650) 425 7342** * *Please send me the resumes to **[email protected]* <[email protected]> Technical Analyst / Production Support Location: Melville, NY Contract: 6+ months (Locals to Tri-state area preferred as there will be In-person interview after the telephonic screen) Work Authorization: Any Major responsibilities: · Analyze system and application requirements as they relate to "eGain" application that provides knowledgebase and support tools for use by internal Canon support agents and for web self-service. · Review and troubleshoot daily break/fix/enhancement requests. · Conduct or attend meetings with business/IT groups regarding enhancement requests and open support tickets, accurately record discussions, decisions and action items. · Develop/Document use cases and test scenarios for new enhancements. - Oversee the deployment process of application enhancements onto Development, QA, and Production environments. · Coordinate and participate in integration testing - Document configuration set up for each environment when deploying new applications. · Maintain project plans and status reports to track open issues and development progress. · Candidate must be a self-starter, as candidate must learn eGain application and configuration on the job. · Ability to write SQL database queries is required. · Knowledge of Java or other programming language is desired.
