Able to use Quality Center at an user level. Understanding of all the navigations and features in QC. Ability to use QC as a Test management tool. SQL Constructs Ablility to understand and implement Data Types, Basic SQL SELECT Statements, Restricting and Sorting Data, Single-Row Functions, Joins, Aggregate and Group Functions, Sub-Queries, Creating & Managing DB Objects, Manipulating Data (DML), Constraints, Views. SQL Query Tuning Basics: Understanding of SQL Tuning concepts like SQL Statement Processing Basics,Explain Plan Basics, SQL Trace Basics, Indexes and Basic Access Methods Basics, Introduction to the Optimizer Basics, Gathering Statistics Basics Adv SQL Basics: Able to understand and implement Datetime Functions, Advanced Sub queries, Hierarchical Queries,DDL & DML Extensions, Transaction Management Tools Level 1 usage *Requirement 3:* Should be able to write SQL statements involving complex joins and grouping Should be able to understand the data model Should be able to create test plan based on Mapping document. Ability to test at least one ETL (like Informatica or Data Stage) or BI tool (like BO or Crystal Reports) Ability to use a testing management tool Should have good knowledge of basic Data Quality concepts Should have knowledge of the needs addressed commonly by all Data Quality tools, and the features common to all Data Quality tools In at least 2 Data Quality tools: ()Should have knowledge of limitations of the Data Quality tool Should have knowledge of best practices in the use of the Data Quality tool *Requirement 5:* Should ve able to write SQL statements involving complex joins and grouping Should be able to understand the data model Should be able to create test plan based on Mapping document Ability to test at least one ETL (like Informatica or Data Stage) or BI tool (like BO or Crystal Reports) Ability to use a testing management tool 1) Should be proficient on all SQl server concepts 2) Should be able to Design dataabse for a given business problem 3) Should have very good data analysis skills 4)Should know about advanced topics like log shipping, Replication etc.. 5) Suggest design alternatives. 6) Architect proficency: Can work with different modules and make tactical decisions which will have impact to business. Lead team to create prototypes to validate design decisions. Design and Code Review. Establish build and unit testing processes. Mentor the team on the technology and design front. Should have very strong understanding of Business Intelligence & Data Warehousing, project life cycle Phases. Should have strong knowledge of implementing best practices in ETL Architecture, Design and Load Performance Should have minimum of 7 to 10 years of IT project experience. Should have minimum of 4 to 5 years experience architecting ETL Feeds in the role of a Technical Lead for ETL Architecture, Design and implementation. Should have experience in Design and Implementation of ETL solution in at least two DWH development projects. Should have expertise in data standardization and datamodeling (i.e. conceptual, logical and physical model design, experience withODS, EDWH and DM ) Should have expert knowledge in at least one leading ETL Tools (Informatica, AbInitio, Data Stage etc.) and familiarity with one or two leading ETL tools Should have expert knowledge on RDBMS and PL/SQL skills. Should have design and implementation experience with at least one leading ETL Tool. Should have design and Implementation knowledge of job scheduling andjob dependency set ups. Should be proficient in at least two of leading RDBMS databases like Oracle, Sybase, DB2, Teradata, MS SQL Server and in Unix/Linux as well as Windows platform Should have sound knowledge of concepts including Data Profile, Data Quality, Meta Data, Data Governance, MDM concepts. Should have functional knowledge of Enterprise architectures. Should have functional knowledge of coding languages like Java, J2EE and .Net and scripting languages like shell scripts on Unix. Should have strong aptitude, reviewing skills, problem solving skills and a zeal to learn new tools and technologies Should have ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
