We are in immediate need of the following resource, if you are interested please respond with an updated resume to [email protected] Job Title : IBM Websphere Suite Administrator Work location : Washington, DC Position Type : 12 months NOTE: Job Title IBM Websphere Suite Administrator Relevant Experience & Experience Required (in Yrs) Minimum of 7 years of experience in Middleware related technologies. Minimum 7 years’ experience installing, configuring and supporting IBM Websphere Application Server (WAS), IBM Websphere Portal Server, IBM Web Content manager and developing WAS infrastructure solutions. Technical/Functional Skills Hands on strong experience in installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting of IBM Web servers, IBM Web application servers, Websphere Portal servers, Websphere Content server, authentication and authorization tools (Netegrity Siteminder). Job description: * Strong Experience with Portal servers (specifically IBM WebSphere Portal) and IBM WCM (Websphere content manager) administration. * Strong Experience with single-sign-on (authentication and authorization mechanisms), preferably using Netegrity Siteminder in Production environment. * Good experience with Business Continuity and Disaster recovery implementations in the Web/Middleware platform. * Experience in working on UNIX and Windows platforms. * Strong Experience in installation and administration of Web servers (e.g., Apache, Domino, IIS). * Strong Experience with Java application servers (e.g., Tomcat and Jboss ) * Good understanding of the Software development lifecycle. * Must possess strong writing and interpersonal skills and must be able to work under tight schedule and deadlines. * Ability to train and mentor junior staff * Experience in installing, configuring and supporting IBM Web Content Manager (WCM) and developing WCM infrastructure solutions. * Experience with Jive social collaboration tool. * Strong project management capabilities, demonstrated through experience managing IT projects.
