Senior IBM Cognos application troubleshooting and installation experience. * * 6 plus years installing, configuring, and troubleshooting * * Cognos versions 7 to 10. Cognos experience a must! The focus will be on Cognos application expertise running in a Linux/Apache environment. * * Healthcare Experience will be preferred.** RESPONSIBILITIES** · Oversees the development and implementation of detailed systems. · Oversees the completion of requirement definitions, functional specification, database design, system and technical architecture definition, implementation and unit system testing and development. · Provides both management and technical leadership. Utilizes project management tools to estimate projects and monitor planning and progress techniques. · Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. · Delivers consulting project activities, ranging from client identification through final invoicing through medium- to long-term engagements requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills. · Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment. · Performance is typically evaluated based on billable hours and contractual deliverables. · Project management activities include interaction with company and client managers and cost/schedule monitoring. · Financial responsibilities include project cost estimating, proposal generation, and invoicing. · May participate in sales and proposal presentations in addition to completing ongoing team account activities. · Identifies additional product/services opportunities in customer organization. · Viewed by customers as a consultant and performance is typically measured by delivery of agreed solutions within budgeted hours.
