*Location: San Jose, CA; Local Only - * *Duration: 3+ Months* *Interview: Onsite Interview Required*** *Role Criteria*: - *Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 7+ years of experience in building database-driven web applications using the latest standards-based approaches* - *Proficiency with front-end scripting including: HTML, JavaScript, CSS and popular JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS, jQuery, YUI, Prototype etc. (5+ years of experience)* - *Experience with developing and deploying Python/Ruby implementation of core algorithms with a solid understanding of coding best-practices and development frameworks (2+ years of experience)* - Familiar with user-interface and information architecture principles and how to design web sites with complex information and functionality - Understanding of responsive design techniques and knowledge of what is required to develop highly performance web applications and great user interface - Mastery of cross-browser, cross-platform markup and layout. Ability to validate and test code across multiple browsers - Strong experience with common web standards and best practices - Experience interacting with Python/Ruby based back-end services and integrating HTML with server side code - Expertise with the server side environment using Unix/Linux, Apache, MySQL, Python/Ruby.
