Location: (Midtown) NYC, NY Duration: Long-term* *Rate: Open!* The hiring manager needs strong Android Dev’s with a comp sci degree, *java*, Android/Advanced Android and also well versed with *tablets*, *mobile*, etc. Job Description: Candidate will work collaboratively with various team members/groups to build high quality applications and frameworks. Development will incorporate unit testing, user interface design and software test integration. Candidate is expected to have detailed technical knowledge of software engineering principles and hands-on Android Applications Development experience Requirements: Minimum of *7-10* years of overall software development experience Minimum of 2-3 years of real-world and hands-on experience developing software for mobile platforms. Specifically Android. Solid Android Development experience is required. Relevant experience includes knowledge of the full technology suite for the Android platform (e.g. Java, Eclipse and the Android SDK). Working knowledge of standard user interface practices for the applicable platform is also desirable. *Experience in working with REST APIs in Android and a good working knowledge of HTTP is a must Experience with XML and JSON feeds and developing web services for the mobile environment is a plus.* Experience developing native applications on one or more mobile platforms is desirable.
