Experience with Hadoop and NoSQL(Cassandra/MongoDB) environments build and
support including design, capacity planning, cluster set up, performance
tuning and monitoring.
Strong knowledge and strong deployment experience in the Hadoop, NOSQL and
Big Data ecosystem – Hadoop, MapReduce, Flume, Hive, HBase, Pig etc.
Responsible for implementation and ongoing administration of Hadoop
infrastructure.
Cluster maintenance as well as creation and removal of nodes, Cluster
Monitoring and Troubleshooting.
Perform Backup/Restore and security configuration for NoSQL database.
Manage and review log files, Database and HDFS management and monitoring.
Design, implement and maintain Data capacity and node forecasting and
planning.
Closely work with the infrastructure, network, database, application, and
business intelligence teams to ensure data quality and availability.
Work with application teams to install NoSQL and Hadoop updates, patches,
version upgrades as required.
