Role and responsibilities -
Mobile Applications Developer
Experience and skills
• Design and develop mobile apps for AT&T customers to run on iPhone, iPad,
Android
handsets and tablets or Windows mobile devices.
• Develop and track software development using AGILE/SCRUM methodology as
part of a small
software development team.
• Provide technical expertise within project teams and work closely with
various teams
including Product Marketing to prototype, refine, solidify and adequately
document
requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems that arise both in quality assurance
phases and after
production launch, and ensure ongoing operation of the apps on new versions
of mobile
operating systems as they are launched.
• Document results.
• May at times be required to project manager or be a member of a project
team.
*Job Description:*
Software development of Remote Access and VPN clients for AT&T Managed
Services for Android.
Design, development and test of client software for Android phones and
tablets.
Candidates must have experience working with Eclipse and the Android SDK,
including user interface design and development.
They must have expereince with IP networking, specifically programming
networking, not using it, in particular on Android devices.
Knowledge and experience with other languages and platforms like .Net,
Objective C, iPhone and BlackBerry are a plus.
This work must be performed on site in Tampa, and cannot be done remotely.
Must be adaptable, quick to learn and willing to learn new technologies and
concepts in a fast paced development environment with quickly changing
requirements.
Proven experience developing production-level software is desired, ideally
with a history of subsequently supporting the software after launch.
