*Must be able to and have past experience with implementing SOA into a web services environment.* Job Title: Java Developer (SOA) Location: Rockville, MD Duration: 8+ months *Interview: Face to Face After Phone* Skills Required Experienced in Java technologies (JAX-RS/Jersey, JAXB, J2EE, Servlets, Struts, Spring, ORM Frameworks, Security Frameworks), Maven, Oracle 10-11 (SQL, PL/SQL), MySQL, Apache Tomcat, Encryption (HMAC, SHA-1, AES), JSON, XML, JavaScript, AJAX, Git, CVS. Summary of Duties: Implements appropriate business logic within the service layer. Defines and develops RESTful APIs to access existing application data and functions. Considers security and scalability requirements within initial design and ongoing operational requirements. Coordinates development efforts between user interface and the back end. Works with test team to build and execute test plans prior to deployment. Works with other developers to define system integration interfaces and utilities. Manages workload and clearly communicates accurate estimated timeframes for delivery among competing priorities. Participates in requirements gathering sessions. Provides weekly status reports.
