This individual focuses primarily on enterprise information requirements: *Key Responsibilities* · Collaborate with client groups to assess data requirements and business needs. · Understand, propose, educate and help implement new business and information Management processes through business operations, information architecture, business intelligence and other programs such as data stewardship. · Document business requirements in standard formats and obtain business user approval. Use information engineering techniques, develop solutions and management processes to achieve overall objectives by means of implementing systems or enterprise-wide solutions, using the Client or a third-party's hardware/software products. Lead the system selection processes. As data is physically created, this position will work with applications developers and database administrators. · Use an advanced understanding of business requirements; conduct business analysis; analyze the competitive situation and recommend business process changes. Work with client and technical professionals to integrate systems and business processes. · Plan and execute unit, integration and acceptance testing; and create specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Design details of automated systems. · Lead local system rollouts and supports data conversions. Work with users to develop processes, procedures, and training; conduct significant systems testing. · Regularly assess and diffuse complex, and escalated customer issues. Take personal responsibility and accountability for solving systemic customer service problems. Regularly explore alternative and creative solutions to meeting the needs of the customer within Client policies and guidelines. · This position is expected to be goal and customer service focused. During times of emergencies, outages and project planned work; employees are expected to be on call and available until the event is addressed. · During system conversions, extra effort may be required in order to ensure the roll out of the system is successful. · Perform other job-related duties as assigned. *Work Experience* Typically 7 or more years of related professional data modeling experience. Use skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practice and company policies and procedures; resolve a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways. Highly advanced analytical skills and business acumen. Advanced understanding of business process engineering, information engineering, business intelligence, data mining and information repositories. Proficient in object modeling, use case analysis, data modeling, multi-dimensional modeling and use of UML notation. Proficient in use of enterprise level use case and information engineering modeling tools. Must understand the difference of enterprise-wide versus dimensional data modeling. Apply facilitation skills to include the application of facilitation tools and techniques. Fully versed in applications and database development. Interpret department strategies and services, resolve conflicts, influence outcomes on matters of significance for the division, conduct final negotiations and coordinate approvals/decision making below the executive level.
