Hi, Hope you are doing Great *Job Title: Microstrategy Administrator* *Location:* *Universal City, CA * *Job Type: Contractual* *Duration for Contractual: 6 months +* *MUST TO HAVE - Hands-on experience with at least one upgrade of a 32-bit Windows environment to a 64-bit Universal environment with UNIX\Linux.* *Responsibilities:* This position is responsible for all aspects of Microstrategy Administration functions for all projects and servers, user administration and object security. · Maintain and insure the integrity of project schemas across multiple environments · Administer the object change management process: Object migration across the various environments using Object Manager or Project Merge. Work with developers to insure that development standards are adhered to, and enforce these standards during migrations. · Install, configure, deploy, and maintain all MicroStrategy software releases appropriate for the environment. Conduct research and analysis for all new releases and upgrades, making recommendations as appropriate. · Act as senior technical resource for the environment, providing guidance relating to application design, tuning, and administrative requirements. · Provide day-to-day support for the servers and all supported application components, acting as the primary go-between for all internal and external application and infrastructure support partners for resolution of MicroStrategy-related issues. · Serves as primary support contact for the offshore monitoring team · Conduct regular performance monitoring of the system, utilizing knowledge of industry standards and best practices to provide recommendations for improvements. · Handle all aspects of user security, including creation of new profiles, user change management, security roles, and user group management · Support for production implementation and migrations during off-hours and weekends · Execute project to upgrade existing 32-bit Windows environment to a 64-bit Universal Linux environment. Project tasks will include installation and configuration of all MicroStrategy components (Intelligence Server, Web Server, Narrowcast, Mobile) in a new hardware environment, migration of existing metadata to new repositories supporting the 64-bit environment, and support for the rollout of the upgrade through the development, testing, and production environments *Required Qualifications:* · 5-7 years of experience as a primary MicroStrategy administrator and architect for mid- to large-sized environments · Demonstrated skill as a Narrowcast server administrator, including service design with dynamic and static subscription sets, file and email-based services, and multiple server systems · 2-3 years of hands-on experience with supporting and utilizing Enterprise manager · 3-5 years of hands-on experience working in Windows and UNIX environments · 3+ years of experience in the use of Intelligence Servers settings for performance tuning and application/SQL optimization · Ability to analyze and diagnose issues using application server logs, including Intelligence Server, Narrowcast Server, Web Server, Mobile Server, and Enterprise Manager · Advanced user of the MicroStrategy Administration toolkit including Command Manager, Object Manager, License Manager, Project Merge, and metadata scanning utilities · Hands-on experience with at least one upgrade of a 32-bit Windows environment to a 64-bit Universal environment with UNIX\Linux. · Experience with MicroStrategy in a clustered Intelligence Server environment · Ability to prioritize and perform administrative functions with minimal oversight · Strong verbal and written communication skills with both end users and technical developers *Thanks and Regards* *ANIL KUMAR* *Ph No : 212-389-9503 Ext. 204* *Email i.d : [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Website : www.damcosoft.com <http://www.damcosoft.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source J2EE frameworks" group.
