Very Urgent Need - *Jr.SAN Technician* - Interview ASAP Position: Junior SAN Technician Location: New York, NY Duration: 6-12 Months
*Experience And Knowledge Required :* *Candidates should have at least 36 months experience, and at least one of the following should apply:* Experience in administering and supporting Brocade/IBM SAN/Storage infrastructure. Experience performing firmware upgrades on all of the following SAN (Storage Area Network) devices; Brocade 2109 M48 Director and a Brocade Fiber Switch (such as a SAN 32B-3 Switch or a Brocade 300 Switch). Experience performing Brocade/IBM SAN/Storage hardware upgrades and migrations. Experience performing firmware upgrades on IBM DS4000 series storage systems. Experience with daily tasks (Implement/ Manage/Install Fiber Connections/Cables, Create/Manage zones, Monitor/Address stability of SAN) associated with a Brocade Fiber Channel SAN. Experience with daily tasks (Allocate/Deallocate LUNs, Create/Manage LUNs/Pools/Arrays/Disk Groups/Host Connects/Volume Groups/Clusters, Monitor/Address stability of Storage Devices) associated with an IBM Storage infrastructure including XIV and DS8000 and DS4000 series storage systems. Appropriate accredited college degree in technology, such as CIS, Computer Science, MIS, Electrical Engineering, etc, with a minimum of an Associate’s degree.
