Experience Requirements * 10 years of related professional experience in Java development with experience using advanced object-oriented design (OOD) concepts and software. * 2 - 3 years working knowledge of IBM Web sphere Application Server technology. Educational Requirement * Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field is required. Required Skills * Experience with distributed and component based architectures. * Demonstrates competency in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts, principles and Web Services. * Demonstrates competency in object oriented analysis, design and programming. * Demonstrates competency with object model notation (e.g. UML). * Experience in developing enterprise and web applications using the Java programming language. * Experience with J2EE and JAVA EE technologies; JSP, EJBs, JMS, JDBC, Web Services, JPA etc. * Experience in IBM Web sphere Application Server. * Experience in XML. * Experience in Struts (MVC) Framework and Spring Framework * Performs unit and integration testing * Experience in utilizing configuration management techniques and tools to build, and deploy application software. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Skills in Business requirements analysis and documentation * Extensive Experience in writing SQL queries and store procedures using Oracle. Duties and Responsibilities * Provides estimates for technical tasks and responsible for driving these tasks to completion. * Coordinates software activities and consults with project team members regarding the design and development of enterprise and web applications. * Adheres to applicable CMMI policies and procedures, both written and verbal. * Responsible for providing suggestions for improving Maricom's CMMI standard processes and procedures for area of responsibility.
