*Title - Senior PL/SQL/C/C++ Application Developer role* *Location - Lawrence ville, NJ* * Duration – 7 months* *Rate - $50/hr* *Client : BNY Mellon* *Responsibilities: * • Member of a team responsible for analysis and development of Enterprise Data Solutions products. Lead project design, implementation, and design/code reviews with minimal supervision. • Analyze requirements, design, and implement data interfaces to support current and new customers, as well as tools to support our data infrastructure • Interface with Customers via support of Enterprise Data Solution products • Work with business and data analysts to ensure requirements are complete • Work with architecture and operations to ensure implementations are sound • Plan work efforts based on requirements • Document High Level Design/Detail design/Test plans/Build plans and help train others on project details • Support implementations in production as needed • Proactively communicate status to Team Lead or Manager • Adhere to coding standards and software development methodologies at Albridge • Assist with development of new processes to support our SDLC *The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:* • Minimum of 7 years of demonstrated experience developing complex software systems including: o Minimum of 6+ years Oracle Database development experience (PLSQL) involving design and development of packages, procedures and functions as well as performance tuning experience. o Minimum of 3-year experience with Core Java o Minimum of 3 years experience developing robust UNIX shell scripts using Ksh/Csh/Bourne shell. Perl programming skills would be added value. o Some C/C+ experience in a Linux/Windows environment o Proven experience working in software development environments utilizing iterative development methodology such as RUP or Agile o Experience with team based development tools (Revision Control, Defect Tracking) • Excellent writing skills with solid design/technical documentation experience • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills which are crucial for agile development and intense collaboration with business teams and IT • Effective planning skills and ability to communicate project issues clearly and promptly • Strong data analysis skills, preferably with financial/securities data • An understanding of data relationships which are critical to success of our products • Must be highly detail oriented and able to adhere to best practices and standards • Bachelors degree required *The following skills are desirable:* • Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica/DataStage/Ab Initio • Experience with Java EE is highly desirable • Data Modeling using tools such as Erwin/Embarcadero • Experience with XML • Financial Industry experience Thanks & Regards, Naga Sarma Javaji System Solutions Inc.
