*Skills required (in order of prioritization):*



•         SQL Server 2012 DB Design – Specifically related to
moderate-sized SQL data warehouse infrastructure, and utilization of data
load/query performance enhancing features such as partitioning, columnar
store indexes, covering indexes, compression, etc.

•         Logical and Physical Data Modeling (Power Designer tool
experience, a plus)

•         SQL Server 2012 Administration – Focus on differences between SQL
Server 2008 and SQL Server 2012, Security Administration and leveraging
Resource governance groups.

•         SQL Server 2008 DB Design & Administration (SQL Server 2008
and/or 2012 MCTS or MCITP certification preferred, but not required with 2+
yrs hands-on experience)

•         In-Place SQL Server Upgrade experience preferred (SQL Server 2008
to 2012)

•         SSIS and SSAS hands-on experience

•         Windows Server 2008 R2 working knowledge

•         Excellent communication and documentation skills

•         Team leadership/coordination/delegation experience
