Job Title: *Oracle DBA* Location: Foster City, CA Duration: 18 months Contract Interview Process: phone screen and then onsite interview in Foster City *Must have skills:* -Strong knowledge of computer software, such as SQL, Visual Basic, Oracle, etc. -8+ years hands-on experience with Oracle. -GoldenGate experience. -Experience with BACKUP/RECOVERY for Oracle databases. -Experience with Oracle 11gR2, installation, performance tuning. -Proficiency in BASH scripting. *Nice to have skills*: -Perl/Python/PHP scripting experience. -Familiarity with regular expressions for pattern matching and replacement. -Understanding of both OLTP and OLAP concepts. -Oracle Certifications valued, but not required. -Understanding of Java, MySQL. -Understanding of Hadoop and Map/Reduce concepts.
