*We are looking for Data Warehouse Developer, please share your resumes for this position to [email protected] <[email protected]>,* *Data Warehouse Developer* *ETL – Business Objects* *Duration: 6+ months* *Location: Minneapolis, MN* *ETL Developer Job Description:* The Extract Transfer and Load (ETL) Developer role is responsible for the design and development of Business Objects Data Services ETL processes from a variety of source databases and populating a data warehouse residing on MS SQL Server. The ETL Developer should have excellent analytical and communication skills and be able to develop standards, procedures as well as documentation. *Responsibilities* • Assess and cultivate long-term strategic goals for Data Warehouse and other enterprise development in conjunction with end users, managers, clients, and other stakeholders • Build and maintain processes to populate the Enterprise Data Warehouse • Build and maintain processes to populate structures optimized for reporting (de-normalized and/or pre-aggregated structures) • Work with the reporting team and Data Analysis team as they develop reports • Performance tuning • Produce ETL design guidelines, standards and procedures to ensure a manageable ETL infrastructure across the enterprise • Maintain the ETL metadata repository in a multi-user environment • Provide analysis and design reviews with other development teams to avoid duplication of efforts and inefficiency in solving the same application problem with different solutions • Create, modify, or update data flows from the Source Systems to Staging and from Staging to the Data warehouse • Perform analysis, design, development, testing, documentation and implementation of Business Objects software components • Design, code, test, and document all new or modified BI systems, applications, and programs • Assist in the design of databases and data warehouses to ensure interoperability with Business Object solutions • Design and deliver end-user training and training materials; provide technical support as necessary • Troubleshoot BI tools, systems, and software; performance-tune these applications as necessary. • *Position Requirements* *Formal Education & Certification* • College diploma or university degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering *Knowledge & Experience* • Minimum of 5+ years ETL work experience • Comprehensive data warehouse analysis and design experience, with full knowledge of data warehouse methodologies and data modeling • Experience with tier-one applications, databases, and data warehouses, such as Oracle and MS SQL Server • Expertise in Business Objects tools, such as Universe Designer, Data Services, and Web Intelligence is a plus o Business Objects Universe Designer Data Services Web Intelligence • Knowledge of SQL o SQL • Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices • Full project management and development life cycle experience • Experience with database design applications • Technical knowledge of network, PC, and platform operating systems is a plus • Experience with data processing flowcharting techniques *Personal Attributes* • Strong written and oral communication skills • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business team members • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities • Able to prioritize and execute tasks • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Thanks, *Pavan Gurram* *Siltek Corporation * *people. technology. innovation* 300 Brickstone Square Suite 201 Andover, MA 01810 (978) 475-3500 Direct (978) 623-7201 Fax *[email protected] <[email protected]>* www.siltekcorp.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source J2EE frameworks" group.
