Siebel Support Consultant

Job Description:
*Support multiple critical Web Applications and Siebel CRM application
*Coordinate with various IT teams to efficiently resolve production issues
*Lead root cause analysis meetings engaging related teams and take
appropriate steps to avoid similar issues in future
*Communicate effectively with Business Groups on the status of production
issues and report any planned Production Outages with details of impacts.
*Monitor and track progress of Production Incidents and prioritize them for
the team
*Lead development and testing of Production fixes
*Involve in Solution review meetings and play gatekeeper role to make sure
quality code moves to Production
*Work closely with infrastructure, release management, change management,
QA, Database and application teams

Skills Required

*Should have a solid foundation and demonstrate an excellent understanding
of Java technologies
*Extensive experience with AJAX, JQuery, JSF 1.2, JSF 2.0, Facelets Struts,
Spring MVC
*Extensive working experience in large scale high volume enterprise
application
*Portals (JSR 186), Web Logic Federated Portals (WSRP - JSR 286) and
Content Management
*Extensive  knowledge about various design patterns
*Good understanding of Oracle Database, SQL/PLSQL
*Good understanding of ETL process
*Highly organized, with the ability to plan for short- to medium-term
objectives
*Strong communication skills, both oral and written
