Perform physical implementation of database design from Oracle server installation to database creation. Install, manage, maintain, and troubleshoot databases and data models that support vendor products, mobile/online banking application and BI applications. Manage multiple Oracle and SQL server databases, ensuring that all servers are operational 24x7x365 and all scheduled jobs and backups are consistently completed. Assume responsibility for backup and recovery, sizing, security, replication, database optimization, schema creation and maintenance, as well as SQL tuning and code optimization. Perform root cause analysis of complex database problems. Adhere to policies and procedures pertaining to the database management, security, maintenance and utilization. Lead small to medium projects including direct interactions with solution delivery and AIS teams. Assist Enterprise data warehouse team, supporting implemented BI solutions by monitoring and tuning queries and data loads, addressing user questions concerning data integrity, monitoring performance and communicating functional and technical issues. *Education & Experience Required:* Ø Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field Ø 6+ years Oracle database administration experience on Unix and Linux platforms (Solaris, OEL), VMware, Oracle 10g, 11g and 12c. Ø Oracle Grid 12c OEM HA architecture deployment and management. Ø Fluent in at least one scripting language.
