Please go through the Job Description carefully and let me know your interest by sending your updated copy of your resume *Location :* Sugar Land (Houston area) , Texas *Duration :* 6+ Months *Mode of Interview *For this QA position only, there will be 2 rounds of Client interviews. *Job Summary* - 10+ Years of total IT experience. - 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance - Demonstrated experience to learn a new domain of knowledge and apply it to test complex multi-tier software systems - 2 years experience testing application software for Windows Desktop and Windows Server - 2 years experience with Linux or AIX with a basic understanding of Unix commands, and scripts - 2 years experience with Oracle or other SQL software with a working understanding of SQL commands and scripts - Expertise in developing and maintaining an overall test methodology and strategy for a large system - Expertise in writing, executing, and maintaining test plans and test cases - Good experience in Effort Estimations - Good knowledge of C#, .Net, SQL, VB Scrip, Unix commands, Unix scripts - Good experience in testing XML message based systems and Web Application Testing. - Good experience with ALM (Quality Center) or TFS Test Manager or both. - An understanding or experience testing software for Electric Utility Distribution Systems a plus.
