*Web Application Server SME - WebSphere and Tomcat in Weehawken, NJ* *Candidates must be local and available for a F2F interview. * * US Citizen, GC, or EAD - No H1Bs. * *Description / Responsibilities* Senior Technologist with detailed knowledge of WebSphere IHS/App Svr, Apache-Tomcat Web/App Svr, IIS/ASP, shall work in concert with core engineering team, to develop IT standards for delivering end-2-end automation covering 1. Middleware Installation and configuration 2. Application pre-configuration and deployment 3. Tuning and Optimization Individual will work with latest software automation tools to incrementally and continuously improve the efficiency of the workflow, build and deployment processes. Keen understanding of Infrastructure Topologies and how applications are layered and leverage standard Patterns. Individual shall work closely with analysts, developers, engineering, quality assurance, and production support team members to align projects and orchestrate all application towards an updated consistent enterprise target state architecture and deployment methodology. *Requirements* - 8+ years experience designing Infrastructure patterns for WebSphere, Apache/Tomcat and IIS/ASP apps. - Strong Java and scripting abilities on Linux and Windows ( PowerShell ) - Familiarity with Cloud Computing techniques on EC2, MSFT Azure - Familiarity with monitoring tools such as NetCool & Wily Introscope. *Skills* - Excellent communication & documentation skills - Solid interpersonal/communication skills - Self directed and demonstrates ownership of solution, issues, execution and follow through - Vendor software certification ideal.
