Position: SCCM consultanat location: Birmingham AL duration: 3-6 months Job Description: We are looking for someone who can help us create packages and system deployments for our applications to be able to deploy / migrate applications to our client's environment for an acquisition and for their internal Windows 7 upgrade. As part of this process the candidate will help them migrate from SCCM 2007 to SCCM 2012, upgrade Internet Explorer 8 to Internet Explorer 11 across the enterprise and migrate/package applications using App-V 5 for our Windows 7 deployments.
Required Skills / Experience Include: * 10+ years working with IT systems and technologies * 3-5 years' experience working with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) * Knowledge and demonstrated technical proficiency using SCCM * Knowledge and demonstrated technical proficiency with software packaging, image automation and application virtualization using APP-V. * Knowledge and subject matter expert in operating system deployments (OSD) * Understanding of Windows Software Update Service (WSUS) for patching. * Knowledge and experience with Desktop virtualization (VDI) * Experience with Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop is desired but not required.
