*JOB TITLE: Enterprise Storage Engineer Location: Either Dublin or McGaw*

*GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES*: This person will be responsible for planning,
installing and maintaining an Enterprise Storage environment and related
infrastructure in a 24 X 7 setting. The team support a range of technology
platforms including the SAN Volume Controller, Enterprise class storage
consisting of IBM Disk Storage (DS) series, HP's Enterprise Virtual Array
technology, EMC VMAX series, EMC NAS storage units, Cisco and Brocade fiber
channel fabrics.

As a member of the storage team, you will work closely with technical
services and support teams, external vendor partners, and internal
customers to develop and implement storage solution for Business
initiatives. This would include gathering project specifications and
requirements, designing a solution, gathering cost, ordering, and
implementation of the solution

*SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*:
* 24x7 support of enterprise storage (Fibre Channel & NAS) infrastructure.
This includes responding to alerts and monitoring triggers and service
outage support calls.
* Plan, test and implement regular maintenance and firmware upgrades /
patches.
* Storage provisioning and zoning activities.
* Performance analysis of storage environment.

*POSITION REQUIREMENTS*:
Education or equivalent: BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

*Qualifications / Skills Requirements*:
* Strong customer service and conflict management skills.
* 5-10+ years experience with Network Attached Storage (NAS and/or SAN)
technology including storage provisioning, LUN management, CIFS / NFS mount
management, quota management, zoning, performance management and volume
management primarily based on IBM and/or EMC technology
- NetBackup, EMC Avamar and ProtecTier experience desired
* Strong working knowledge of:
* IBM DS8000 series in both direct attached and virtualized environments
(i.e. using SVC)
* EMC VMAX
* Brocade or Cisco based fabrics
* EMC Celerra
* EMC Centera
* EMC Clariion
* CIFS, NFS file systems, Quotas, Data Mover Mgmt
* DART, FLARE
* Celerra Replicator
* Rainfinity
* Performance monitoring, system tuning, and capacity planning experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong collaboration skills; ability and experience in mentoring and/or
supporting other team members.
* Experience with Project management methodologies and software (such as
Microsoft Project)
* Experience writing technical documentation (such as Microsoft Visio)
* Support for the environment 24 X 7
* Must be able to travel (5%).
