*Job Title: VMWare Admin* *Location: Jersey City, NJ* *Duration: 6+ Months* In this role, you will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, setting up lab environments; installing & configuring products, generating architecture and engineering documentation capturing the details for DEV, UAT and PROD implementations, and coordinating the implementations via the appropriate teams. Also, need to generate quality detailed documentation for all operate teams and train them so that they can take over the BAU maintenance functions of the product/solution implementations. This role requires extensive hands-on experience with installation & setup of servers (ESXi, RHEL, Windows) and installation, configuration and functional testing of third party products; requires very good understanding of storage, database and networking technologies. *Responsibilities:* Architect and Engineer solutions based on virtualization & automation suite of products and solutions: VMware vSphere 4/5, VMTurbo, VMware vCenter Orchestrator (vCO), etc Define, present and recommend design alternatives with the pros and cons where appropriate Identify areas for improving efficiency and of repeatable processes and recommend solutions for improvement.
