*Title: Test Developer*
*Location: Woodbridge, NJ *
*Duration 6 months*
*Technical Skills*:
1) Must have a strong Java Development background
2) Must have experience with UNIX/Linux shell scripting (sh, ksh, etc...)
3) Must have a background in test case creation and execution
4) Must have a background in test automation (2-3 years minimum)
a) Creation of test scripts/code
b) Creation of test simulation harnesses.
c) Familiarity with testing tools (Selenium, jBehave, PowerMock,
jUnit)
5) Must have experience with technical writing
6) Must have a deep understanding of Eclipse based development environments
and tools
7) Preferred: Experience with ANT and WAS deployment automation
*Description*:
The Test Developer/Tester role will be responsible for working with the
Test Lead, participating in the test case design process. Specifically the
Test Developer will be responsible for creating test scripts that will
verify code produced by development teams. The scripts will verify against
User Stories which will have been previously created. In addition, there
will be the need to develop Java-based test harnesses which will simulate
different device types. The Test Developer/Tester will also need to have a
good understanding of testing methods and be able to pick up testing
procedures quickly. The Test Developer/Tester will be required, when
needed, to act as a tester when manual test exception is needed, and be
able to produce quality test results when automated test results are not
possible.
