He/she would be leading a team of technical members who will be focusing on Data Quality and Metadata Management. In addition he/she will be acting in the capacity of IT Liaison with Data Governance team and business Data Stewards. He/she should have strong banking domain knowledge. *Position Objective:* This position is responsible for enabling IT related tasks based on enterprise data policies, standards, and processes. Leads a team of data quality and data analysts members to ensure high quality and available data within the organization. Liaison with enterprise data governance team in implementing and executing enterprise data governance and data quality framework consistent with the organizations goals and objectives. Establishes and manages the IT Enterprise Data Quality program. - IT liaison for Data Governance Oversight and Management - Partner with enterprise data governance team to implement IT solutions for Data Governance process and monitoring. - Defines and implements Data Governance Management tools - Implements end-to-end process and data quality framework for assessing decisions that ensure the suitability of data for its intended purpose. - Participate Data Governance Council, its vision and direction. - Assesses data repositories for compliance with data governance policies and standards. Works with all areas of the business to ensure data quality and integrity. - Manages the creation of quarterly compliance reports. - Data Quality Oversight and Management - Develops and executes data quality strategies in line with the organization`s business strategy and goals. - Works with business owners to defines and establish data quality rules and definitions consistent with department and organizations strategies - Develops data quality metrics that identify gaps and ensure compliance with standards across the enterprise. - Establishes data quality process, governance, and issue tracking process tools. - Works with business and IT partners to remediate identified gaps using both manual and automated solutions. - Establishes processes to continuously monitor data quality.
