Position : Project Manager Location : Atlanta, GA Duration : 12 MOnths Project Manager - SW Migration and Data Center Migration * Experience with Data Center Migrations: Coordination - The consultant will have responsibilities relating to the SW Migration aspects of the Data Center move. Negotiation - Experience working with multiple business units to accomplish business critical initiatives Presentation - Will need to be comfortable making presentations to all levels within the organization Communication - the ability to communication up and down the organization in an effort to drive project deliverables that are both in and out of the consultants scope of the project. Organization - The consultant will need to work with the Director to prioritize the critical initiatives and move the not-so-critical initiatives to the bottom of the list.
The Project Manager will be responsible for driving the Data Center move from Godby to the new Data Center in Mid-Town. The PM must have previous Data Center migration experience. The ability to juggle and manager multiple groups/initiatives at the same time is critical to the success of the migration. The PM will need to have extensive scheduling / coordinating experience for large projects. There will be communication with at least 4 specific areas of the world - NY, London, Vancouver, and Cumberland. The PM will have responsibilities around escalation of issues that arise in the Data Center. Experience with Software Developers and SW Testers working with Oracle, Tuxedo and MQ Series to ensure that the SW applications that are being migrated are function at appropriate levels on the new systems. This is a Technical Project Manager that will need to have experience with and an understanding of PCI, Middleware, Systems Migration, Infrastructure, porting systems, SW Testing, SW Development, etc...in order to be effective.
