I have this need in Atlanta, GA at 50/hr through January. Must have good communication skills and be very strong with Siteminder. SITEMINDER ENGINEER POSITION DETAILS: Siteminder Engineer will work with Cox's Identity Management platform that supports the Cox Residential and Business High Speed Data, Telephone, Video, and Wireless product lines. They will install, configure and maintain policies that protect resources, validate authentication credentials and verify authorization levels. They will also facilitate testing of these applications and platforms through the existing Development, Quality, and Load Test environments and provide documentation and best practices for the Technology Operations teams for production deployment. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Design and implement policies to authenticate and/or authorize login credentials to protected resources. 2. Integration with internal and 3rd-party content and/or service providers 3. Installation and maintenance of software revisions. 4. Documentation of policy designs, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting procedures. 5. Troubleshooting of application, authentication and authorization problems. 6. Ability to communicate effectively with business counterparts. 7. Ability to perform with limited supervision. 8. Ability to manage multiple projects at one time. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience 2. Strong oral and written communication skills are required. Must be comfortable giving both planned and impromtu presentations and handling a constant barrage of questions from both technical and non-technical parts of our organization. 3. Must be comfortable working in a team environment 4. Minimum of 5 years working with a multi-tiered server environment (Apache, JBOSS, Tomcat, interacting with Oracle databases, Oracle DSEE, and/or MS Active Directory, backed by load-balanced VIPs). 5. Strong experience with Computer Associate's (CA) Siteminder software; Identity Manager integration experience is a plus. 6. Strong experience with implementing Federations with internal and/or 3rd-party providers via SAML 2.0 7. Strong experience with implementing SSO between disparate products via Siteminder Webagent installations and configurations 8. Knowledge of LDAP, SQL querying and Oracle DB 9. Intermediate experience with Linux, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). 10. Software development experience using Java is a plus but not required Requires BS/BA in related discipline; 5-8 years of experience in related field.
