Dayton, OH 6-12 MONTHS Local candidates STRONGLY preferred Coordinate changes to Oracle/mySQL databases, test and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems. Typically has an Associates degree with previous experience in programming. Education/Experience o Associates degree in computer programming or relevant field required. Bachelor degree preferred o 5-7 years experience required Responsibility level o Exercises independent judgment with direction from supervisor Skills o Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required) o Ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required) o Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required) o Knowledge of computer software, such as Oracle, MySQL, Toad etc (Required) Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Modify existing databases and database management systems - Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations - Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system - Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project - Performance and tuning of SQL code - Data Warehouse experience Regards: Sam Williams - Recruiting Manager ITBrainiac Inc.
