Serves as troubleshooter with third-party software applications and their developers to remedy identified problems. Assists users with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Access and Excel. Assists with improving existing programs by reviewing objectives and specification, evaluating proposed changes, recommending changes, and making modifications. Instrumental in the migration process from test to production. A point of escalation in the support troubleshooting process to solve problems with software at desktop and server level. *Qualifications:* Required: 5+ years of development experience with C#; Candidate must be proficient with: Visual Studio 2010; .NET (2.0, 3.5, 4.0); MVC 4.0+, and Entity Framework. Team Foundation Server 2010+. Familiarity with other scripting languages (JavaScript). Collaborative, cross-group design and development. Strong self-motivation. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) with a preference in VSTO. Scripting and development experience with SQL Server (SQL 2008, 2012) including SSRS. Strong oral/written communication skills, especially in being able to communicate technical information with clarity and accuracy in a cross-team environment. Ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and concentrate on detailed information in a fast-paced demanding work environment. Preferred Skills: Experience in an Operations/IT environment; Familiar with hardware/server installs and deployment ; Familiarity with risk and quality management.
