Client:Autodesk(HCL)



*Requirements:*





·         Bachelor Degree in Computer Science

·         5+ years of working experience working with IT enterprise
physical & virtualization environments.

·         Solid knowledge of system management and methodologies
specifically related to virtualization, server operating systems,
networking, distributed computing environment and systems security.

·         Advanced knowledge of Linux OS. Ability to monitor, manage and
troubleshoot both physical and virtual machines with native or third party
Linux tools.

·         Proficiency in one of the scripting languages (shell, PowerShell,
Perl, Ruby, Python)  and common knowledge of Object Oriented coding skills
to automate processes.

·         Thorough understanding of server and network protocols and
technologies e.g. DNS, DHCP, VLAN, TCP/IP, NTP and such

·         Experience managing, configuring, Windows desktop and server
operating systems; experience with Active Directory is a plus.

·         Working knowledge of SQL language and experience with supporting
at least one kind of RDBMS (MySQL, MsSQL, Oracle)

·         General knowledge of storage concepts in relation to virtualized
environments. Preferable experience with one of storage platforms e.g.
NetAPP, EMC

·         Familiarity with cloud platforms such as EC2, CloudStack,
vCloudDirector, OpenStack, a plus

·         Ability to problem solve quickly and ability to propose clear
viable tactical & strategic options or solutions as part of a
cross-functional global team.
