Here are the requirements for the Web Program/Project Manager position at McAfee in Santa Clara, CA. They do require Phone & in-person interviews so we would need to provide Local Candidates to CA. WEB PROGRAM MANAGER Pay Rate: MAX is $55/hr (C2C) Santa Clara, CA 1 Year CONTRACT The Web Program Manager will oversee development and implementation of our website transformation initiative including web branding, content management and governance rules, and new process development as required. You will act as liaison between internal marketing teams and IT / developers. This position has the ultimate responsibility of driving the new site forward from design to development to launch. Will work with cross-functional teams consisting of Marketing, Go-To-Market Operations, IT, Support, Sales, Channels and other Business Subject Matter Experts. Main Responsibilities/Functions: •Establishes Web project scope by studying strategic business drivers; discovering and validating business and technical requirements and parameters; obtaining input from subject-matter experts; examining and recommending changes to current business practices; developing and writing proposals. •Develops Web solution by formulating objectives; planning project life-cycle deliverables and resource availability and application; preparing installation and modification specifications; leading the exploration, evaluation, and design of technical solutions. •Responsible for overall project coordination, including managing scheduling, budget, assigning tasks, motivating resources, and resolving problems. •Develop detailed project plans to guide the design and implementation of our website and e-commerce capabilities. •Provide consistent and comprehensive status reports, project updates, and ongoing project health analysis, significant issue tracking, and communication with project team, business lines, and management levels on a regular basis. •Coordinate with IT on all aspects of platform development, quality assurance and testing, with the ability to effectively communicate all technical aspects back to business stakeholders. •Identify risks and propose contingency/mitigation plans. •Understand and communicate impact of significant risks, missed deadlines or budget overruns. •Adjust project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of business. •Possess strong knowledge of project management theory and practices. •Adhere to project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, adhere to high quality standards, and meet customer expectations. •Provides project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. Required Experience: •BS/BA in business, marketing, communication or related field is required. •5+ years of experience in project and/or marketing management. •PMI/PMP certification is a major asset. •Familiarity with project management tools and/or software packages. •Experience with eCommerce platforms and tools •Ability to drive change management •Understanding of CMS functionality •Knowledgeable of website design techniques, including responsive design and RESS •Demonstrated leadership with managing people. •Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. •Working knowledge of web standards and best practices, ecommerce solutions and social media strategies •Strategic, operational, and technical marketing and management skills. •Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities. •Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving and analytical skills. •Scrum certification will be considered a plus •Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management and other departments. •Experience with IT project management and Agile methodologies a big plus. •Self-starter and highly motivated.
