Software Quality Assurance Analyst Location: Plano, TX Duration: 6 Months REQURED SKILLS: Should be able to communicate with all onsite and offshore stakeholders and act as point of contact for resolving any issues/concerns. Should be able to write effective test cases/scenarios and test plans. Should be able to visualize and create specific testing methodology/strategy. Should be proficient to execute tests effectively and be able to identify ad-hoc defects Uses analytical methods to test and assure the quality of the software. Prepares testing and reporting documentation throughout the software development life cycle. Demonstrates deep knowledge of a software quality assurance methodology and tools. Works with team members to review customer requirements, design and functional specifications and test documentation. Answers inquiries regarding defects, testing and deployment issues. 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Knowledge of software quality assurance methodology and tools is essential. Learns and gains working knowledge of requirements gathering tools such as Caliber and test management tools such as TestDirector, QuickTest Pro, and LoadRunner by Mercury.
