Only GC's or US citizens Our client is currently seeking a SQL Server DBA for an opportunity in Chicago. This role will be involved in SQL Server installation database creation; establishing environments; maintaining SQL Server instances throughout the enterprise. This role is also responsible for operational support, performance tuning and disaster recovery for high visibility applications and data warehouses that utilize SQL Server. Other Duties Include: - Perform physical database tables and designs, work with system administrators, and use data dictionary software packages to ensure data integrity and security - Recover corrupted data and eliminates data redundancy - Use tuning tools to improve database performance - Work with the application development teams, focusing on the back-end portion of data storage considerations and performance considerations for application systems being developed - Follow best practices and are involved in defining and enhancing processes related to SQL - Perform database patching, upgrades, backups and restores -- Please send me your updated resume immediately position will get closed within an hour.
