*DESCRIPTION:* *Job Title: Cognos Lead Developer* *Location: Miami, FL* *No of Positions: 2* *Start date : ASAP* · Candidate will demonstrate 3-5 years’ experience in the design, development, testing, implementation, administration and migration of COGNOS Dynamic Cubes 10.2, Framework manager, Analysis studio and Report studio reports. · Candidate will demonstrate 3-5 years’ experience in the design, development, testing, implementation, administration and migration of DB2 Cubing Services Design studio as well Inphosphere Warehouse 9.7 or newer administration console. · Candidate will demonstrate 3-5 years’ experience in the DB2 distributed databases and performance tuning including MTQ, MDC and Partitioning. · Candidate will demonstrate 3-5 years’ experience in MDX querying modeling preferably DB2 cubing services and Cognos Dynamic cubes flavors. Microsoft analysis services MDX is acceptable too. · Must have recent practical experience with Data modeling and Dimensional modeling, with a working knowledge of the star schema. Must be proficient in the use of Dynamic Cube Designer, Framework Manager, Report Studio, Oracle and DB2 SQL databases and demonstrated success managing DEV, TEST and PROD environments and effectively controlling migration across environments. · Candidate must have Extensive understanding of Multidimensional Analysis. Candidate must have 5+ years writing SQL queries to validate reports and research data in the tables . · Candidate must have Experience with DB2 and Oracle 10g and/or later. · Candidate must have Understand Data Warehousing best practices and associated methodologies. · Candidate must have Working knowledge of the different types of data stores that make up a complete Data Warehousing environment (staging, ODS, etc.) · Cognos Administration of the Portal, Users, Groups, Security, etc. is strongly desired.
