This role will be developing a highly available system to communicate with Smart Meter technology. Key responsibilities will be development of customer based systems, production of designs based in requirements specification, liaison with business analysts where necessary in relation to requirements. The key competencies for this role are problem analysis/resolution, excellent communication skills (both written & verbal), and it is ideal if the candidate has worked in the Utilities industry. *Qualifications:* 9 - 11 years of demonstrable experience in C/C++ software development Experience in the design, implementation and deployment of high-performance large-scale applications in a distributed environment.
